Lighthouse holiday
Wonderful to wake up to the lapping waves - right in the middle of the ocean at a lighthouse. An unforgettable experience for both young and old - in storm and calm!
At Karmøy, you can sleep in three completely different lighthouse dwellings, from rustic to luxurious.
At Vikeholmen lighthouse, boats pass right outside the living room window. Even though located in the entrance to Skudeneshavn, you still get a feeling of being far out in the archipelago. Sleeps 10 and you have access to a boat.
Characteristic Geitungen lighthouse majestically sits atop an island. A natural experience in the outer harbor of Skudeneshavn. Geitungen is one of the last lighthouses to be built in Norway, lit for the first time in 1924. The housing is a tourist association cabin (DNT) with 35 beds and 8 bedrooms.
Høyevarde lighthouse is like a hidden treasure, inside Hydro's facility at Håvik. Established in the year 1700 and contains today stately rooms, meeting room, garden, dining hall - and wonderful food. Open for individual guests in July.

Wooden house idyll
Among whitewashed houses, you can awaken amongst lace curtains, colorful rose gardens, and the scent of freshly brewed coffee – in the city's former bakery, a house exchanged for herring, and other charming dwellings with a historical atmosphere.

Norneshuset is located by the sea with a dock and outdoor seating area. The house originally came from Riga and was transported by sailing ship as payment for herring.
Reintersenhuset offers an exciting combination of rooms for rent, a wonderful old-fashioned living room, and its own cafe. The world's smallest cafe was originally a bakery and is located in the heart of the old town.
Gamlekaien was a stagecoach station from 1720 and thereafter an inn for 200 years. Now, you can live like nobility and watch the passing seaway.
Havn Hotel and Restaurant is situated right in the harbor basin. With large windows facing the sea and a short stroll to Bade-Olena and the sauna there.
