Island Hopping
Feøy is known for its archipelago with coves and canals, and car-free roads. From here, you can join boat trips and fishing: T 99 23 54 99. There is a scheduled boat from Haugesund and Kveitevik at Torvastad. Are you more interested in speed and excitement? Paddling Paradise
Fantastic nature experiences await you in a kayak. Torvastadsjøen and Vikingstad have a plethora of islets and coves to offer. Fotvatnet/Bygnes, Gofarnes/Kopervik, and Lindøy/Fosen can be explored with rented canoes and sit-on-top kayaks from Frilager. Want to go with a guide? With a rod or handline, you can freely fish for saltwater fish from shore or boat all year round. There are rules for fishing in freshwater:
The lobster is protected from January 1 to October 1. Minimum size is 25 cm.

Active in the Mountains
The hike «Vårspretten» is organized on the last Sunday in April. The main route is from the sportsground in Skudeneshavn (2 x 4.5 km). An alternative route from Mjåvatn (2 x 1.7 km). «Karmøymarsjen» takes place the second Sunday in June. From Karmøyhallen in Kopervik over Karmøyheia to Skudeneshavn. The mountain-association organizes a family day at Røyningsbu on Sunday in week 36. Each year, orienteering posts are set out in Skudeneshavn and Ferkingstad.
